You can use our Medium Alice pack with or without an external frame, unlike the Large Alice Pack that must be used with a frame.

It has a huge main compartment hidden beneath the storm flap, a concealed map pocket with a hook and loop closure under the flap, and three exterior pockets with compression buckles and a two-snap closure. It also contains adjustable and padded shoulder straps, as well as wrap-around compression bands above the storm flap to keep your items secure.
