Important Information
This Aquascape filter mat replacement is 18″ x 15″ x 2″ and the hole inside should line up with the water return line to the waterfall/main filter. After washing the filter mat, you should notice the mat will return to its original shape time and time again. While the material in the pond filter mat is thick and dense, it can be cut down to size if needed. When trimming the filter mat, consider using a pair of heavy duty shears.
Many pond owners prefer to clean their filter mats weekly to enhance water clarity. If you notice debris building up around the filter mat, attempt to make cleaning a bit more frequent.
