Breakdown
The Black Diamond Apollo Lantern is a great lantern for use when you are truck camping or at a base camp. Its 250 lumens of bright light is perfect for use while cooking on the tailgate, playing cards in the tent, or sorting out your gear. There are two collapsible hooks on the top of the lantern that allow you to hang it from a branch or the top of your tent. If full power is too bright you can hold down the power button to dim the light and save both your eyes and the battery. The Apollo can run on either its internal rechargeable battery or standard AA batteries. The internal battery has a capacity of 2,600 mAh which is enough to fully charge a smartphone once.
